About Us

LMW Parish is the coming together of three church congregations, Trinity in Lucan, Our Savior's in Milroy, and St. Matthew in Wabasso to form one Parish, one body in Christ. We are an ELCA Lutheran Parish who gather together to worship pray, teach, and serve, following Jesus as a committed, caring community of faith. Our name, LMW Parish not only stands for the towns we live in, it also describes our ministry, "Lutheran Members at Work."


All Parish Worship Services

The Parish celebrates Worship together on the fifth Sunday of the Month, so Jan. 29th 2012 in Lucan, April 29th, 2012 in Milroy, July 29th 2012, in Wabasso, and September 30th 2012.  Each worship service will be at the time of the congregation where we meet, and a multi-generational event will happen at the time they would normally have a bible study.  Each event will be published with time to include event happenings.

January 1, 8, 15 & 22:

  • Sunday, 8:30A - Our Savior's/Bible Study 9:45A
  • Sunday, 8:30A - St. Matthew/Bible Study 9:45A
  • Sunday, 10:00A - Trinity, Lucan/Bible Study 9:15A

January 29: All Parish Worship Service at Trinity with Multi-generational event at 9:00A and worship at 10:30A

Plus Wednesday evenings in Wabasso at St. Matthew

  • 6:00 pm supper
  • 6:30 pm confirmation and education classes
  • 7:30 pm contemporary worship
